Without a plan, the budget goes to whatever broke last.

An assessment shows what’s working, what’s at risk, and what to fix first, so you can spend on what matters and explain the plan to leadership. You keep the report and the roadmap whether or not we do any of the work it recommends.

When to consider starting this project

  • You’re planning next year’s IT budget
  • You don’t know where your biggest risks are
  • You’re preparing for growth, an audit, or a sale

Interviews, review, findings, and a roadmap you can act on.

  • Conversations with leadership and key staff
  • A review of systems, security, backups, and vendors
  • Findings written in plain language
  • A prioritized 12-month roadmap with budget ranges
  • A readout meeting to walk through the plan

From first call to documented handoff.

Scoping is free, and the price is agreed before any work begins. Most projects are quoted at a fixed fee.

Before the work

  1. Discover

We start with a free call. You tell us what you want, what you use now, and when you need it done.

  2. Plan

We send you a free written plan. It lists the work and any equipment, with a price for each.

  3. Sign

You sign the plan, and we put your project on our calendar. Nothing starts until you say yes.

The work

  1. Implement

We do the work, mostly over the internet. If a job needs us in person, we come to you.

  2. Adjust

Testing and real-life use show what needs work. We fix those things and fine-tune the setup.

  3. QA

We check every item in your plan, one at a time. We don’t move on until everything works.

After the work

  1. Document

We write down what we built, how it’s set up, and why. Our diagrams help whoever works on it next.

  2. Handoff

We show you and your team how it all works. Then we hand over the passwords and the documents.

  3. Follow-up

After we hand it over, we check back with you. We make sure everything still works.

Talk to an engineer

We take on a limited number of projects at a time, so the sooner you’re scoped, the sooner you’re on the calendar.

How is the assessment billed?

It’s consulting work, so it can be billed hourly or quoted as a fixed fee. Scoping is free either way.

Do we have to hire you for the follow-up work?

No. You keep the report and the roadmap, and any provider can work from them.

Who do you need to talk to?

Leadership, a few key staff, and whoever looks after your IT today.

Can we have it before our budget is due?

Tell us your budget deadline when you book, and we’ll plan the readout around it.

  • IT closet cleanup and labeling

Turn a tangled IT closet into a clean, labeled rack you can trace in seconds, with tidy patch cords, managed power, and a diagram of what’s where.

  • IT documentation build-out

Document your environment so anyone can support it, including systems, accounts, vendors, the network, and key procedures, in one place you own.

Know what to fix first, and what it will cost.

Book a free scoping call. You’ll get a fixed-fee or hourly proposal within two business days.

Planning around year-end? A fixed-fee proposal lets you commit this year’s budget before it closes, or put your project first on next year’s calendar.
